The "Cortex Settings" page can be found under "Account Settings" in the toolbar, or you can directly visit the URL: https://members.retentionscience.com/account/cortex_settings.
The "Cortex Settings" page contains both Global and Stage settings.
If your Cortex toggle is set to ON, you will be able to send emails through enabled Cortex stages.
The Global Cortex Filter would allow you to only email users via Cortex that fall within a specified segment of your choosing. This is optional and not necessary under most circumstances. The Global Cortex Filter only applies to the Welcome Stage, Promo Blast Stage, and the Custom Transactional Stage.
Cortex Minimum Interval is a setting that allows you to adjust the minimum interval day for users in cortex between sends. This will not apply to New to Your Brand or any of the "trigger" stages (like Price Drop, Cart Abandon, etc.).
The Follow up stage interval (days) determines how long Cortex will wait to send a Follow Up email after a user makes a purchase. For more information on the Follow Up stage, click here.
The Cart abandon timing setting determines whether Cart Abandon emails should be sent at the user's optimal time of day or as soon as possible. For more information on the Cart Abandon stage, click here.
You can enter in your business details as well as email addresses to notify when you are low on incentive codes, something within the platform resulted in error, etc. (Notification Emails).
