Starter Templates are a great way to establish a baseline for your templates that can be re-used anywhere in the Cortex environment. Use them to store standard header/footer content for new templates, or to store basic "skeletons" for each stage's messaging.
Creating a new starter template is just like creating a standard template in the drag-and-drop builder, except it is not required to be finished. When saving your starter template, you can choose to save it as a starter template for a specific stage, or you can choose "all" to allow this starter template to appear for all stages within Cortex.
In any Cortex Stage, open the "new email" menu. You will be greeted with the options of "custom html" or "a drag and drop starter template." Next to the existing starter templates for your stage will be the "create new" option for a new Starter Template. You can also create a new starter templates from "Starter Templates" under "Data Management."
